Mobile Coating Frame XL – The Smart Link for Your Workshop Workflow

The mobile coating frame XL closes the biggest gap in your powder coating workflow. Gone are the days when freshly sprayed, highly sensitive parts were accidentally touched or damaged while being moved to the oven. This heavy-duty system allows you to hang components directly onto the stand, coat them in front of your extraction wall, and then easily and safely roll them right up to the curing oven.

  • Efficient Workflow: Coat, roll, slide in – completely touch-free.
  • Industrial Grade: Extremely warp-resistant frame made of 2 mm thick galvanized steel.
  • Perfect Fit: Specially developed as a system extension for the Powder Curing Oven XL.
  • Shipping Note: The frame is delivered as a compact flat-pack kit. Matching crossbars (Steel Hangers) and wheel hooks are sold separately in our accessories section.

The Coating Stand in Practical Use

Watch this video to see how the mobile stand optimizes the entire process – from coating in front of the wall to the seamless transfer into the curing oven.

Maximize your productivity and drastically reduce reject rates from accidental contact. Anyone who regularly powder coats alloy wheels, bicycle frames, or heavy metal components knows the risks of moving parts after spraying. Combining smooth-running caster wheels with a precise rail alignment system, you simply push the internal rack and workpiece straight into the guide rails of your XL oven. This saves valuable workshop time and ensures flawless results without surface blemishes.

Intelligent Handling: How to Optimize Your Process

Position the mobile coating frame directly in front of your extraction wall. Hang the parts flexibly using our (soon to be available) Steel Hangers. Use one of our professional systems from our Buy Powder Coating Gun collection to apply the powder evenly. As soon as your oven reaches the target temperature, roll the entire frame up to the open oven door. Now, smoothly slide the upper hanging crossbars off the rolling frame and directly into the rail system of the oven. The rolling stand remains outside – while your parts cure safely inside.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – Handling & Best Practices

Does the entire frame go inside the powder curing oven?
No! The stand serves purely as a transport and coating trolley and stays outside the oven. Only the top crossbars (Steel Hangers) holding your workpieces are uncoupled from the frame and pushed directly into the tracks of the Oven XL. This protects the casters and prevents the oven from losing unnecessary energy by heating up a massive steel structure.

What accessories do I absolutely need to get started?
To utilize the frame, you need the matching upper loading bars (Steel Hangers) that cross over the top of the frame. Your powder coating hooks or wheel hangers are then attached to these bars. Both components can be found in our accessories catalog.

How stable is the frame during the coating process?
Using 2 mm thick galvanized steel makes the frame extremely warp-resistant. The swivel casters are equipped with heavy-duty locking brakes. Once locked, the stand sits completely safe and stable in front of your extraction wall, allowing you to focus entirely on operating your powder gun.

How complicated is the assembly?
The product is shipped disassembled to save on shipping costs. Thanks to precise laser cuts, all components fit together perfectly. Assembly can be completed easily with standard workshop tools (wrenches) in about 45 to 60 minutes.
