Heat-Resistant Masking Tape polyester blue 220 °C

The blue polyester masking tape is the standard for fast masking with high visual contrast. Thanks to the blue coloring, you can immediately identify every adhesive edge on the metal – this prevents masking errors and ensures that no tape is forgotten on the workpiece after the oven process.

With a thickness of 0.075 mm, it is slightly easier to handle than the transparent version while remaining extremely elastic for tight radii.

Blue vs. Transparent: Which to choose?

Choose Blue for speed and contrast on large surfaces or curves. Choose the transparent version if you need to see markings or bores beneath the tape. Both use the same heat-resistant silicone adhesive.

FAQ:

Does it leave adhesive residue? No, the silicone adhesive remains stable even at 200°C+ and does not smear.

Does it adhere to powder coating? Yes, two-layer coatings are easily possible due to the high adhesive strength.

Application:

Degrease the surface, press the edges down firmly. For the cleanest edge, we recommend removing the tape while it is lukewarm immediately after taking it out of the oven.
