Maya Gold is a warm and rich gold shade with a hint of amber, inspired by the golden treasures of the ancient Mayan civilization. The color exudes a warmth and depth reminiscent of sun-drenched desert landscapes and golden sunsets. With its rich and intense color , Maya Gold is perfect as a highlight for certain pieces of furniture or accessories. The color is versatile and can be easily combined with other warm tones. Maya Gold powder coating can also create an interesting contrast when combined with cooler colors, such as a fresh green or blue.

Application
When processing metallic powder coatings, the electrostatic (corona) process is recommended; metallic powder coatings must be tested for their suitability for tribo application.

Pretreatment
Grease, oil, scale and oxidation products must be removed from the surface before coating.
For special requirements, additional pretreatment types are required.
Recommendation for outdoor use
If the parts to be coated are intended for outdoor use, we recommend first coating the grease- and solvent-free surface with our primer powder . After baking, the desired RAL color is applied. This so-called two-coat process particularly increases the weather resistance of your workpieces for outdoor use. You can also protect the surface with a clear coat , which, if desired, allows you to adjust the gloss level and color effect.

At 180 °C object temperature 15 - 20 min

- with a single coating 60 - 100 µm
