Midnight Purple combines the rich darkness of midnight with a sophisticated, cool violet hue, creating a look that is both powerful and elegant. The color represents luxury, individuality, and depth – it appears modern yet timeless. Depending on the light, it shimmers subtly between dark plum violet and almost black purple, lending every object an extraordinary, mystical presence.

Application
When processing metallic powder coatings, the electrostatic (corona) method is recommended; metallic powder coatings must be tested for their suitability for tribo-application.

Pretreatment
Fats, oils, scale and oxidation products must be removed from the surface before coating.
Additional pretreatment methods are required for special requirements.
Recommendation for outdoor use
If the parts to be coated are intended for outdoor use, we recommend first coating the grease- and solvent-free surface with our primer powder . After curing, the desired RAL color is applied. This so-called two-coat process significantly increases the weather resistance of your workpieces for outdoor use. Additionally, you can protect the surface with a clear coat and, if desired, modify the gloss level and color effect.
Recommended burn-in time
At an object temperature of 180 °C, 15 - 20 min
Optimal layer thickness
- for a single coating 60 - 100 µm
- with a 2-layer coating 120 - 160 µm
