Smooth gloss 80 GE +/- 5 (60° angle)
Our primer powder coating is manufactured in Europe to the highest standards and delivers a perfect surface finish in terms of flow and color. The coating also offers good edge coverage, chemical resistance, and good corrosion properties.
Our hybrid powder coating primer combines the best of both worlds. Increased corrosion and UV resistance thanks to the blend of epoxy and polyester resins.
Application
Suitable for electrostatic (corona) and tribo processes.

Pretreatment
Grease, oil, scale and oxidation products must be removed from the surface before coating.
For special corrosion protection requirements, please refer to the technical data sheet regarding pretreatment on different substrates!
Recommendation for outdoor use
After the primer is baked, the desired RAL color or any custom color is applied. This so-called two-coat process increases the weather resistance of your workpieces, especially for outdoor use.
Recommended burn-in time
At 180 °C object temperature 15 min
At 200°C object temperature 10 min
Theoretical yield
At 60 μm layer thickness 9 - 13 m²/kg
Optimal layer thickness
- with a single coating 60 - 100 µm
- with a double coating 120 - 160 µm
